Within C&MC we also have Damen Green Solutions B.V., which specializes in retrofitting new ballast water treatment equipment into existing vessels through the utilization of 3D scanning and 3D engineering, as well as our Damen Air Cavity System (DACS) which contributes to low-emission shipping.

As our future Manager Engineering, you will lead our team of multiskilled and highly motivated engineers. Your expertise in engineering and production processes within shipbuilding will be invaluable. You will be responsible for overseeing a range of projects, from standard DMB’s to entirely new ETO one-offs. Your leadership will be crucial in integrating 3D engineering towards logistics and production. Ensuring the well-being and productivity of your team, while managing capacity and workload, will be paramount.

• Organizing, guiding, and coaching the engineering team;
• Overseeing main milestones and deadlines of projects to ensure they stay within budget and planning;
• Continuously improving engineering processes for higher efficiency;
• Monitoring the efficiency of engineering software and advising on software choices;
• Ensuring seamless communication with key personnel in pre- and post-engineering processes;
• Maintaining good contacts with other engineering companies;
• Delivering input on building strategies for new projects;
• Striving for a zero-defects output and supporting the team in approval processes;
